This Privacy Policy explains how Elyra processes information when you use the Elyra application and related services. Elyra is a soundscape app for sleep, rest, focus, and travel. We do not provide medical advice or diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.
1. Information we process
Information you choose to create
Elyra can save your selected scene, visual atmosphere, music, ambient sound, timer, and other soundscape preferences on your device. These preferences are used to restore your saved soundscapes. In the current version, Elyra does not require an account and does not upload these preferences for cross-device synchronization.
Approximate location and weather
With your permission, Elyra uses your approximate location through Apple Core Location to request local weather, temperature, humidity, and sunset information from Apple WeatherKit. Elyra uses this information to adapt the soundscape. Elyra does not store your precise coordinates or sell location information. You can decline or later disable location access; the app will continue with general conditions and local time.
Subscriptions and purchases
If you purchase Elyra Plus, Apple processes the payment through the App Store and RevenueCat processes subscription status and entitlement information on our behalf. Elyra does not receive your full payment card number. We may receive an anonymous RevenueCat app user identifier and subscription entitlement status so that we can unlock or restrict Plus content.
Content delivery and technical information
When the app requests audio catalog information or protected content, our Cloudflare-hosted service may process an anonymous app user identifier, asset identifiers, catalog version, IP address, request timestamps, and standard request information. Short-lived download URLs may be generated for eligible Plus content. We do not use these requests to build a precise location profile.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address, device details, app version, and the content of your request. Please do not send sensitive health information.
2. How we use information
- To provide, personalize, and maintain Elyra soundscapes.
- To retrieve local weather when you grant permission.
- To process subscriptions, restore purchases, and enforce Plus access.
- To deliver audio content, prevent misuse, troubleshoot failures, and keep the service secure.
- To respond to support requests and comply with applicable law.
3. Service providers
Elyra uses the following providers for the purposes described above:
- Apple: App Store payments, StoreKit, Core Location, and WeatherKit. Apple’s terms and privacy policy also apply to those services.
- RevenueCat: subscription management, purchase validation, and entitlement status.
- Cloudflare: secure delivery of catalog and audio resources, request handling, caching of eligible public content, and protected resource authorization.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use Elyra to serve third-party behavioral advertising.
4. Storage and retention
Soundscape preferences and downloaded audio may remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall Elyra. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and our operational requirements. Server request and security records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and legal obligations.
5. Your choices and rights
You can disable location access in iOS Settings, manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account, delete saved soundscapes and downloaded content in the app, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

6. Children’s privacy
Elyra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
7. International use
Elyra is intended for users in multiple countries. Depending on your location and the provider involved, information may be processed in countries outside your own. We use the safeguards made available by Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and applicable law for those transfers.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Elyra’s features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above and provide additional notice in the app when a change is material.
